From Wiki: Scorpions are a German rock band formed in 1965.[5] Since the band's inception, their musical style has ranged from hard rock[3][4] to heavy metal.[6][7] The band's only constant member is guitarist Rudolf Schenker, although Klaus Meine has been lead singer for all their studio albums.[8] They are known for their 1980s rock anthem "Rock You Like a Hurricane" and many singles, such as "No One Like You", "Send Me an Angel", "Still Loving You", and "Wind of Change". The band was ranked No. 46 on VH1's Greatest Artists of Hard Rock program.[9] "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is also No. 18 on VH1's list of the 100 Greatest Hard Rock Songs.[10] The band is one of the worldΓÇÖs best-selling bands of all time, with claims of sales around 75 million to 100 million records worldwide. Deadly Sting: The Mercury Years 1997 (U.S. 2 disc release) Deadly Sting is a compilation album of hits and previously unreleased material by the German hard rock band Scorpions. The songs were culled from their catalog on the Mercury label. Deadly Sting was released both as a single disc in 1995 and an expanded double-disc version in 1997. The single-disc album has 15 or 18 tracks depending on the country of release, which span from 1979 to 1988. The double-disc US release has 33 songs ranging from 1979 to 1995, including several previously unreleased studio tracks. Additionally, the double-disc version is subtitled The Mercury Years and was made available with an alternative cover omitting the nude model.[2] The original cover art was created by John Scarpati.
